In the era where IT was the most happening thing, i joined a manufacturing industry soon after my college in Feb 2003. An industry though started in 1978 was hardly known to anyone.
After working there for 6 months, i got an offer from an IT company. Today , 25-Aug-2010, after completing my 7 long years of service to the IT industry; i feel whatever happened has happened for good. Thanks to the people who brought me to this industry.
Though i speak in a purely personal capacity, IT industry has indeed helped many middle class families increase their per capita income.
Thought of listing down all the companies i have worked with;
It was fun working with such good companies and i hope the fun continues in future as well.
Though initial days, things looked easier in terms of the job and the kind of role i played, the real tenacity was only known after spending more days in the IT space.
This industry not only created jobs for many aspiring engineers but also helped in creating a niche place for "Namma Bengaluru" globally.
Long live the IT industry.
Long live the IT industry.
